Arrábida – Cabo Espichel

The tour starts in Cascais at 09:30 AM bound south of the Tagus river, passing over the magnificent '25th of April' bridge  from which one can view the impressive mouth of the Tagus, the largest river in Portugal.

Already off road, we travel to Meco along paths in the area of Caparica, passing by the Lagoa de Albufeira, where "our" adventurers have the opportunity to enjoy wonderful scenery, and if time permits, indulge and refresh with swim in the sea.

Leaving the area of Meco the route continues to Cape Espichel famous for its lighthouse and fortress / monastery on the cliff.

The stop for lunch is in the area of ​​Meco.

The afternoon takes the route for Sesimbra to visit the fishing port.

There is the possibility to visit the Wine Cellars of José Maria da Fonseca in Azeitão for wine tasting at the Castle of Palmela.

The price of the tour includes: Vehicle, fuel, lunch and a  brief TT (4x4-off road) driver training.

 

Not included in the price: Visit to the Wine Celars (Additional price of  € 6,00)
